• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

so me and the wife just decided to go ahead and join the spyder club. I have a few questions.

1. Im 6'3'' 280 lbs wife is 5'1'' 120 lbs do i need to already change the rear shock?

2. What windsheild would be the best to get as i want good looks and comfort im only 31 years old so still want the cool look lol. And is there one i can put on and off quickly?

3. Thinkin of going with some saddle bags from brp are they fast to put on and take off waterproof and built well?

4. Since im going to have the wife often should i get the sway bar right away?

sorry for the many questions just want to make sure that we get it right the first time lol.

thanks.

With two-up riding all the time, I would look at all the models, specifically the RT. You can still look cool on an RT. It might be a little more difficult, but it can be done.

Yes, get the better rear shock for sure.
Search threads re bags, issues and alternatives. The shad bags through brp are getting good reviews.
swaybar can probably wait, it doesn't seem to be as big an issue on the f3 range as it is on the others.

backrest for pillion is absolutely essential on the spyders, don't leave home without it!

Windshield is is down to personal taste - I like short ones which I look over, many seem to like tall ones to look through. Again there are many threads discussing brp and other brands.

Good luck and have fun!

Ps I have my own spyder, but have pillioned on the back of husbands f3 and with the smoothspyder backrest it was brilliant.
Pps re bags, don't remove the passenger grab rails...
