• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 F3 LTD belt vibration

Hello y'all. I have the common belt vibes within the 62 to 68 mph range. I bought sockets, wrenches, Krikit II, etc. gauge to reduce belt tension which reads about 210# off the ground. That is the highest tension of the recommended range. I decided to let the dealer check it because of such little clearance between the muffler and the axle bolt I wouldn't be able to use my socket without moving the muffler. I'll post results of dealer visit and belt adjust.

Just had my dealer do this. Made a big difference IMHO. Have no idea what he set it at. Tom :spyder:

Here are my comments on my dealer visit to adjust the drive belt on my F3 L: When I set the appointment, I was told I could wait for it and it would take about 15 minutes. Well, about three hours later I had to go find the shop manager to ask if it was finished. I am very patient man, but that s ridiculous. I heard they are short staffed. The belt was adjusted and it feels much smoother. However, when I checked, the right axle cap stuck out about 3/4 inch. I couldn't seat it because the mechanic replaced the cotter pin with one too big. Fortunately, I had the right size and replaced it myself. i really hope the service here improves.
