• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 exterior drunk light can be retrofit to 2015

Slightly off topic, but I wanted to thank you all for the laugh. The drunk light and the frunk people, and everything in between ;)

Back on topic: I was just looking at the factory light setup. The price is a bit steeper than Spyderpops; I wonder how the two compare in real life (how well they hold up to bug splats, repeat washes, etc. I have put a bunch of miles on my F3 and hope to put a lot more. Wondering if the cheaper Spyderpops light will also be more fragile and need to be replaced sooner... I know price does not always reflect quality or longevity, would love to hear from people who have one of these.

Installed ours. VERY bright 5000K color light! Wire is at end of strip and the strip is hardly noticeable when not lite. I routed the wire differently than the instructions suggest and it takes less than half an hour. There's actually room for a second strip if you wanted extreme light.

I have the one from Spyderpops (wire hidden in the center), it is very bright and i have it wired with my Lighted bumpskid and because i have the remote control, i can dim the light if warranted or flash it if needed. I am very happy with this one.
