2016 exterior drunk light can be retrofit to 2015

If you look through the 2016 F3 pix on the Can-Am site, some are shown with a very bright full width light directly under the front lip of the drunk lid. I contacted my dealer and they did some digging. I was told by them that the light and a 2015 retrofit kit are available for about $220. I'm thinking about doing that. Has anyone here done that yet?

The F3 Signature light is in the 2016 accessories catalog but don't think the parts are available yet.

The BRP light is just under the front overhang of the drunk (not drunk) lid. i.e. Just a few inches from the BRP emblem on the front of the lid. It appears to look very bright, and, more important to me, it looks well integrated. I don't want a light that looks like it was just an afterthought.

I went back to look at the Spyderpops LEDs that you seemed so certain about and you were absolutely correct. The first time I looked at their pic I only noticed the lights on the bottom of the grill. So, for $70 vs over $200 I'll be ordering from Spyderpops.

I think it's a strip. I ordered one and I'll post when it arrives. The LEDs are 5500K (VERY white). I might do HIDS to match the color.

It is a strip, but it has the wires in the center so after application you do not see them, they are sealed & waterproof and very bright, look great. You want a strip rather than an enclosed one because the strip will conform to the shape of the bike and a solid piece won't.

I thought it was encased and shaped to the nose of the FRUNK.
