• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 exterior drunk light can be retrofit to 2015

If you look through the 2016 F3 pix on the Can-Am site, some are shown with a very bright full width light directly under the front lip of the drunk lid. I contacted my dealer and they did some digging. I was told by them that the light and a 2015 retrofit kit are available for about $220. I'm thinking about doing that. Has anyone here done that yet?

The F3 Signature light is in the 2016 accessories catalog but don't think the parts are available yet.

Spyderpops has one called the Spyclops for $70.00. Check out his store by clicking on his link on the home page.

This is the one I am wanting to get. Looks good and sure I will be seen.

The Spyderclops is in a completely different location than the BRP light. The BRP light is just under the front overhang of the drunk (not drunk) lid. i.e. Just a few inches from the BRP emblem on the front of the lid. It appears to look very bright, and, more important to me, it looks well integrated. I don't want a light that looks like it was just an afterthought.

SEE MY POST #13.

The Spyclopse does mount in the same place as the BRP signature light. I'm not sure where the drunk light mounts.
I went back to look at the Spyderpops LEDs that you seemed so certain about and you were absolutely correct. The first time I looked at their pic I only noticed the lights on the bottom of the grill. So, for $70 vs over $200 I'll be ordering from Spyderpops.

This FRUNK exterior light....

From SpyderPop. Is it just a led strip of lights or is in enclosed? Does anyone have an idea?

It is a strip, but it has the wires in the center so after application you do not see them, they are sealed & waterproof and very bright, look great. You want a strip rather than an enclosed one because the strip will conform to the shape of the bike and a solid piece won't.

THANKS.

I thought it was encased and shaped to the nose of the FRUNK.
