2015 Spyder F3-S back in shop for the 3th time for failed front Sprocket

Yesterday on my way home from work i felt a vibration when slowing down/coasting. When I got home I looked a the front drive sprocket and sure enough there was the dreaded "RED DUST". This is the the third sprocket that has gone bad. Seems like they only last about 25000-30000 miles. Mine failed a 28500, 32000 and now at 60000. Second time (32000 miles) was due to shop putting the sprocket on backwards. Will be another 2-3 weeks without my Spyder

Wow I’d be finding another shop after put one on backwards.

When I got my Spyder the salesman said it came with an extended warranty good for 5 years unlimited miles. My current shop said it was not under warranty! Opened a case with BRP. Find out the original dealership where I bought it from got the extended warranty from RPM1, not the BRP BEST 3 year extended warranty. Never told me that and thought it was from BRP. Good news is that it will be taken care of, but I had to do the leg work.
