• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 Owners Events - Here we go!

as a member of the spyderquest team i'd like to offer up a big thank you to brp for recognizing spyderquest as an up and coming event. an event that with their help will grow like spyderfest has over the years. we look forward to working with you on making spyderquest even "bigger and badder" than before!! :2thumbs::2thumbs:

Hey Chuck !
You guys did GREAT without BRP lending a hand.
It can only get better, and I'm looking forward to it this year !

MY TWO CENTS

I find it perplexing that some people are complaining that most if not all of the Spyder events this year are too far from them. I am still working but rode to Texas 2 years ago from Western NC and rode to Spyderfest last year. This year I have plans to ride to Deadwood, SD for the Three Wheeler Rally. If you have never been to southwestern SD (and I haven't), I have heard the scenery and history is outstanding!!! I hope to see some of my Spyder friends in Deadwood in July. Bottom line is: it's never too far to ride on a Spyder!!

You will surely get your wish on a SD trip. Venture 50 miles E to Badlands National Park and Wall Drug. Venture about 100 miles west to Devils Tower National Monument and your trip will be pretty much complete. The internet is full of good stuff about the whole Black Hills experience. One of my favorite places to visit in the whole US.

Try to make Spearfish Canyon. It is gorgeous as is almost anything in the Sturgis area.

Motosportsin , PA

Folks, BRP is already remaining involved with Spyderfest - obviously one of the largest events of its kind in the U.S. BRP will still be present this year at Spyderfest with, among other things, the demo truck and BRP staff on hand to support. With this new program, we wanted to support additional events in as many parts of the country as possible so as to reach more Spyder riders.

I know that demo day hosted by BRP, at motosportsin PA, with great number of can-ams and staff from BRP

It was 'mentioned' in the first post, that all the events submitted would be posted. Will that be soon? I'd like to know about other Spyder events around the USA? I might want to go to one or more of them?

We've now updated the list of events on the Can-Am Spyder website. On that same page there's also a link to check out the complete list of owner events submitted by the community.

BRP BBQ....A JOKE

Just got home from a trip to Daytona for bikeweek.

Weather was great ….the event at BRP tent on Saturday 3/14/15 TERRIBLE

Went down to True Laser Track headquarters for the free cookout Thursday and Friday…food was on time, hot and GOOD. While I was there had a laser alignment done…WOW is the only word to describe the difference…amazing how good it rides now !!!

Was so impressed we went back for the free breakfast on Saturday morning
Got to the BRP tent at 11am and sat in a chair because I knew if we didn’t save a seat we would be STANDING in the hot sun….food was supposed to be served at 1…..by 2:30 STILL NO FOOD …and out in the hot sun they had no water ….finally got a hotdog and some munchies at 2:45-3:00

If it wasn’t for the fact I wanted to tell my grandkids that I rode around the speedway I would have left at 1…a LOT of people got mad and left.

Here’s my for suggestion for BRP for 2016 …SPONSOR Destination Spyder ….they served hot food on time FREE and had plenty of shade and ice cold drinks and just do a invite to ride the TRACK

Hospitality is NOT what they shine in !!!!
