2015 F3 vs F3-S differences

There are a few of the differences noted i the BRP brochure but not all. I have found a few more and thought I would start a list and ask for help.

F3-S has either matte black or gloss red frame, F3 is available with gloss black only.
F3-S has matte black passenger peg mount, F3 is matte silver metallic.
F3-S has matte black trim on muffler, F3 has matte silver accents on muffler.
F3-S has matte black rear wheel and sprocket, F3 has matte silver metallic rear wheel and sprocket.
F3-S and F3 have the same seat except F3-S uses red accent stitching.
F3-S adds Red and Magnesium as a body color options.
F3-S has Cruise Control standard, optional on F3
F3-S has black and silver wide spoke wheels, F3 has matte silver wide spoke wheels.
F3-S has new style long fenders, F3 has older style smooth round fenders. Gloss Black on all body colors.
F3-S has metal windshield and gauge cluster mount bars (either side of cluster). F3 are plastic. Both matte black.
F3-S and F3 have respective body side decals.

Anyone know of other differences?

I think you covered all of the differences. Good write up. Should be helpful to people trying to decide between the two. In my opinion,the F3-S is worth the extra $1500.

I agree the cost is worth the $1500 difference IF the you want ALL the included items.

In my case, it was cheaper to get the base model and add to it than to start with an F3-S and work form there. And the gloss black frame is not available with the S package. Out of the F3_S included items, the only ones I would have kept were the gauge cluster mount bars and the cruise control. Seat, wheels were not for me, I did not like the matte black or red frame.

There is no down side either way, its back to different strokes for different folks. Depends on the look you are going for.

F3S fender lights are long-narror LEDs, and believe the F3 are smaller teardrop style. (And I officially
all the color, which I have, Rorange )

The fender lights are a function of the fender style. They are not interchangeable. F3 has one fender style and the F3-S has the other but yes, the lights are different. You have a Red base model? Hmm, the BRP literature does not show that option. Please confirm and I will correct the table above.

Magnesium is only available with red frame. And its available as a base model or F3-S. According to the BRP literature and the BRP folks at the demo ride. I wanted to start with a silver bike, but the red frame would not work for me.

all the literature I have (the big F3 book and the little 2015 spyder book) show that the base F3 model only comes in black or white. It also looks like the base model also only has the black frame. All the other colors are on the F3-S. Maybe things changed since the beginning of the year?

You are right... The fender style is very different, so the S has the elongated LED. I do not recall either
that its actually an option. (me thinks not)

I think net-net, it is the seats w/red stitching and the color combos on the F3S that seem to be the larger
differences. (IMHO). I went with the F3S because I wanted the Rorange color. (Lets face it, its closer to
orange than red. hyea

I have corrected the color options. Magnesium is not available on the Base model despite what I was told at the Demo event.
