• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015/16 RT-S Side Marker LED question

patience my dear Watson!

Yep did that. That's not the issue. There's very little room by the front tip lights due to the bracket for the fender itself.

Two taps for the existing wires plus two spade plugs for the side and rear lights really don't fit well.

Yeap! Very little room, but if you take your time it can be done! My buddy and I install them on my rts!

I have the "Tric-LED( led's) on the front fenders( amber) and red markers Led's ( facing the drivers feet) + red side markers on the saddle bags, installed by a Vermont Can-Am dealership.

The led's interfered with the Radio Stations( had static, not clear,) So I had a "resister" sent to me from Tric-LED, and I will have the "resister" installed, sometime this winter, before the riding season starts. Deanna

Light pipe

The front marker light is LED so they aren't completely crazy. Don't know what a light pipe is though sounds like someone might be smoking something in a pipe. :roflblack:
Just thinking the old fender lights were "fender tip lights". The newer RT'S have an elongated fender light...maybe the difference or maybe the Bangladesh Frenchto English translation is more accurate...:ohyea::dontknow:

Thank You

Thank you for your honest and candid response. It both stated the problem and that Tric LED sent you a resistor to take care of the problem. Could you post a picture with the lights off and only car headlights reflecting light so it can be seen what the reflective qualities are ?

I too have had radio reception issues because of the Saddle Bag LED reflector/lights from TricLED. Also they sent me resistors to be wired to the positive's of these lights. I haven't had them installed yet either. I'm not sure where the best location should be for the resistors, either near the light or near power.

Yes, I can post a picture with the lights off and only the car headlights reflecting light ,so you can see the reflective qualities, and It wont be until spring( because my spyder is in hibernation at a dealership) Deanna

Hi Dee!
You've mentioned that you had lots of static interference...

I get virtually NO reception with mine. :yikes:
But no static...
In your discussions with Reggy; did anything like this come up? :dontknow:

The conversation with Reggie that I had ( @ Spyderquest) nothing was mentioned about "No Static". Deanna
