There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2014 vs 2015

Hey all, sorry if this has been covered ad nauseum, but is there much of a difference between the 2014 and 2015 RT Limiteds? My concern are heat issues from both the CAT and front end. among others, like in previous models. Price and finances are always a factor, I am just wondering if I am missing out on much between the two years if I now go with the 2014. Thanks in advance.

An easy question. No differences between the 2014 RT and the 2015 RT other than model designation (Special) and some new color combinations. If you can find the 2014 that you like you will save a few bucks since it is last years model. If not, your still good on the 2015.

The roll out of the 1330 seems to have been an overwhelming success and I cannot think of anyone posting bad stuff about either the 2014 or 2015.

F3 is also sounding very good for 2015. Issues with getting accessories timely, but that seems to be pretty much it.

14 VS 15

:agree:.....Really not much other than color.............But I dis-agree on small savings thing.......if you can still find a 14 RT you will save at least $5,000.....I saved $ 3000 long before the 14 was a left-over...............just sayin.....Mike

thbere is one thing no one mentioned. the 14 is a year older than the 15

I did John and Bob, really, really. :roflblack::roflblack: I must be on your ignore lists.

I agree with Mike. There are bucks to be saved if you do not demand a 2015 color. Cognac 2014 Limiteds look particularly sharp, JMO.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I would go with the 2015... one thing that comes to mind is tires... maybe they sorted out the premature wear out on the junky Kendas..

:agree:................Now instead of 6000 miles on the rear tire ............you can expect 8000 miles .....................Somehow I don't think that's worth $ 5000 , but it is better than the cra**y old KENDA's :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:...........Mike

I note the 2012 RT LTD and 2015 RTs, all models, have the same rear tire part number, 705501464. The 2113 and 2014 RTs, all models, have the same part number, 705501604. We heard here somewhere that BRP had recognized the short life of the 13/14 rear tire and had reverted to the 12/15 compound. Recognizing that it might eat into dollar savings on a 2014 it might still be worth negotiating with a dealership to have a 2015 compound rear tire made part of the OTD deal.

The way that folks scream about the Kendas; you'd think that they'd want the 2013/2014 tire just so that they could burn it off quicker, and find themselves some REAL rubber! :D

There may indeed be some '14 somewhere. They are getting scarce. One thing to keep in mind is that all preseason deals on '15s will disappear 4/30/15.

What's the airfare from New York to Alaska?????? The ride home will take care of the 3,000 mile service interval.

I just got a 2014 RT-L ( black currant) the color I wanted and saved around $7000. The dealer just looked at what the other dealers had and then did what dealers do and went and got my bike. Yes the year is not current but it still come out of the box as if it was the current year. Again its a personal choice.

:congrats::agree:................$ 7000.00 will probably pay for all the gas and oil and all maintenance for the next 5 years........and the depreciation difference , between a 14 and 15 ....5 years from now will peanuts .........you made a smart move .....Mike :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

The only difference is the color of the plastic on the outside - you got a great deal and I'm envious. $7000 is a LOT not to spend, and that difference ends up paying for the upgrade from the base model. Great deal, and congrats!
