• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Getting time to take my 14 RT-S in for its second service and wanted to know if anyone had a list of things that i needed checked because of service bulletins, recalls, advisories or any other notice. I just want to be sure to get all of them checked out. Thanks

Joe, mine was hooked up to Buds a couple weeks ago when they put new screw/s in the clutch cover and no other updates or Svc Bull were listed. There was a TSB on ignition keys but I think you know about that. Mine wasn't one of them.

I've had my set screw replaced twice from the recall. Getting ready to take it back in because its dumping oil again...

Hi Joe.
:congrats: on getting to put all of those trouble-free miles on! :2thumbs:
My guess is that you're already aware of the 2014's TSBs; just keep smiling, and riding! biker.jpg

As I see it..!!

as long as you make sure they hook up to the buds system you should be up to date. You can always ask for a print out to confirm its your roadster and the date checked...

I took my bike in for farkeling at the dealer and at the same time they checked my VIN number for any service bulletins. My bike was on the list for the oil screws. So they replaced them. They also checked my key number for the ignition issue and mine was not on the list. Primarily key numbers over 1600.

Checked with my dealer on when the second service is due and was told at 12,300 since my break in service was done at 2,999 miles on the odometer (9,300 miles after break in service was performed).

JOE I ROAD MY NEW 2014 SE6 FROM TAMPA TO DALLAS, NO PROBLEMS.

Some confusion on this, but the the oil changes after the first (3000) is 6600 not 9600.

Don't want to start anything.
But
The service manual for the 1330 states:
Break in service 3000 miles
Then next section states:
Every 9300 miles
So there is no requirement for 6600 miles

:agree: My Math looks about the same...

Third Trailer Module

9,500 :D all trouble free so far except for the trailer module that went out, but no biggie

Cruzr Joe

I am waiting for my third trailer light module.
First module replacement, there were no trailer brake or tail lights.
Second module replacement, left brake & signal not working.
Waiting for third module, right brake & signal not working.
Does anyone have an advise or suggestions?
Since this module is under the seat, could it be getting too hot?
Looking for information to take to dealer and possibly BRP.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks, Harvey...
