2014 RT. Ltd. Seat Question

Does the 2014 RT Ltd. Come standard with the driver backrest or does this have to be purchased separately? Many of the bikes I have seen have them, so I was not sure what the deal is. Thanks!

There is a -Show Chrome Accessories 41-158 Smart Mount Backrest - on Amazon for $165. Looked at it, but the co-pilot wanted to stay with BRP stuff. so we just added the seat back to the financed cost.

I put a Utopia on my 2011 RT-S....it was great. I traded for a 2014 RT-Ltd last week and the dealer had a BRP backrest in stock so I had them install it....it does not come close to the Utopia...it is not adjustable but the Utopia is and has a nice bag on the back for your camera, hand gun, blackjack, pint of gin....things you need for a trip. SKIP the BRP backrest. I know because I will order a Utopia and eat my BRP backrest.....and I knew better but had not seen a BRP backrest....Oh well.....I rode 500 miles the last two days and said 427 bad words about the backrest.

I just purchased a new 2014 RT Ltd and it came with a black back rest. I don't need a back rest and will sell you mine for $299 OBO.
