• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 RTS and 2010 RT622 Trailer

I traded my 2010 Spyder Rt A/C for a 2013 RTS about a month ago. The old bike had the large round wire harness, and the new bike has the square 4 wire plug. Is there a way to convert this and still have the Amber turn signals on the trailer operational. I've been told, it can only be switched to use the same lights as the brake lights as signals, leaving the ambers there for nothing. Any ideas? Will the older bike harness work on the newer bike maybe? Thanks for any help! Also I'm very impressed with my new bike. When I rode it home from the dealer, my Wife asked how it was. I can't believe it is made by the same company. The new bike is so much smoother, I have 1200 miles on it, no limp mode, my turn signals cancel, the brakes don't squeak and growl, and I really like the floorboards.

The only way to get functional amber turn signals on your 2010 trailer would be to wire them separately and directly. You will not be able to delete the new combined brake/turn function of the red LED lights, so you will have both amber and red turn lights simultaneously (and perhaps out of sequence). Spyder trailers and wiring harnesses since 2011 function only as 4-wire. I'd forget the ambers, wire in a square-4 to your trailer (use the right and left brakelight wires, not the right and left turn wires), and be like the rest of the kids on the block. JMHO

That's probably what I'll do then, the new (2013) trailers don't have the amber lenses evidently. I haven't seen one yet. Thanks.

The lenses are there, but not the sockets, bulbs, or wiring. It has been this way since 2011. In 2013 the changed they trailer connector.
