• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking to upgrade and was wondering if there are any issues with he 2012 RT-S. Found one brand new for what I feel is a decent price. To :chat:take this off line please respond to [email protected]. Thanks everyone

I had a 2012 RT-S, and had no problems. I have been told (in 2013) that the 2012 has the least issues, and is the best RT to buy.

Waited till bugs subsided, and purchased a 2012 RT-S SM5.. REALLY HAPPY...NO problems. Would buy another 2012 today, if I was in the market for a new Spyder. Still have my 2009 GS SM5. Truly happy with it, also. Ryde.

I would recommend jumping on the deal for a 2012 RTS. Currently, the major opinion is that the 2012 is the best of the crop of the original RT's.

Thanks for the replys folks I will be doing the math tomorrow and if it works then I will probably commit to the deal. Again thanks to all that replied

Only issue I've had with my 2012 RT-SE was when I bought it, it had been sitting on the show room floor for about 10 months. The dealer got it all prepped ok, but the seat latch was kind of stiff. As a result, the switch that told the nanny the seat was down sometimes didn't engage. This resulted in a number of "passenger detected" warnings on the monitor. The fix was to spray the seat latching mechanism with WD-40 then to slam the seat a bunch of times. It is fixed now. This was real minor.
