• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It will be a really really quick cross when you consider the dates for Spyders in the Redwoods are Aug 6-9th...

The wife and I are in Randy ! I wish Lake Placid RV Park was open today because I would have made a reservation. Let's hope the weather is the opposite of last years. Because it's almost in your backyard maybe you can give us some guided tours !

Doc,

I know you travel fast but don't think that would be possible unless you are flying the spyder out...... :)

Later,

Shawn

We are going to put this one on our radar. Nothing gets planned that far in advance around here, but on the calendar it goes.:dontknow: Be fun to meet the New Yawkers!:yikes:

You should go. We went last year and it was really fun. It did rain a lot one day but it was an event I would go to again. Beautiful area.

Doing SITR

We are doing SITR this year. Leaving Pensacola around the end of May and doing Owners event, then SITR. We travel slow 300 miles or less then spending 3 to 7 days. So it looks like we will miss Lamonster's BBQ. Will be posting our locations as they get closer, looking for people to ride with, you never know went we might just spend a few extra days someplace or leave early heading back to Pensacola.

2012 SITA

I'M ABSOLUTELY,DEFINATELY,WITHOUT A DOUBT,WILL NOT MISS THIS,FOR SURE GONNA COME.....MIKE...:agree:...

Were in for sure . Last year every one was spread out all over the place and there was talk about some host hotels this year .:dontknow: The whole passport / poker run was in the rain but it was a blast, some awesome deals on accessories from BRP and the final dinner at the casino was an excellent location right on the American- Canadian border

It will be easy ! Its the one on FIRE ! We look forward to meeting you and Holly. Like I said this was one of the better rallies we went to last year, its an easy 8 hour run for us and once we cross the boarder at the Thousand Island PKWY. bridge we get onto some awesome roads right into Lake Placid where you can't find a bad road.

Randy,
I know that you said you'd post more details as they become available, but does this event offer up a block of Motel rooms in the region, or are we on our own to find a place to settle in at night?

Orrrr... There's always our camp! Just a touch over an hour North just above Onchiota! :roflblack:
(No digital pictures exist of this place, but it was declared "uninhabitable" back in 1960 by the Kushaqua lumber Company!)

Dang...... it makes it kinda hard to attend both unless both are cut short for travel. However, the triangle does sound inviting. Lets ride.....
