• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dang...... it makes it kinda hard to attend both unless both are cut short for travel. However, the triangle does sound inviting. Lets ride.....
A new TB is waiting for you in Salt Lake City...

Quick ??

If I take the northern route through Canada, do I need anything other than the usual paperwork (registration, insurance) and a passport?

Nothing else just what you mentioned and a DOT approved helmet is required.

Hey Mark, you and Nancy should try and make this one ? Great event ,awesome roads, easy 7-8 hour run for us. Where booked in at the Best Western Lake Sarnac .

I will sure try to make it this year. Let us know about "Host" hotel, etc. as information becomes available. Thanks.

We have already talked about it . We decided we cannot make it as the rally interferes with our holidays.

This is the one Spyder event that I could get to. I need someplace not too far out of my ryding range, as I'd likely be coming up by myself. Would really appreciate some Hotel/motel info if a block of rooms will be reserved for a group rate. At the very least, could someone post a list of motels and their distances from the goings on, so someone unfamiliar with the area could get the lay of the land?? I really would love to do one Spyder event in my lifetime. And SITA is the closest event to where I live.

Randy....I signed up for this last night. Now I just need to find a room!

Let me know where you are thinking of staying. We are camping for the week near Lake George, but we want to rent a room in Lake Placid Thursday and possibly Fri night. Where did you stay last year ???

This will get you started with the motels. I will call around to check some of the rates out soon, so don't book a room quite yet.

Please join us in Lake Placid, NY for the second annual Spyders in the Adirondacks Rally. The event runs from August 9th - 11th. Come check out some of the North East's greatest scenery, outstanding mountain riding, and the camaraderie of fellow Spyder riders.

This year's event will offer a Poker Run through New York's Adironcack Mountains, gatherings throughout the week, a fun filled closing Awards Banquet and thousands of dollars in prizes...and a surprise or two!

While the event officially kicks off on Thursday, we encourage you to come early and enjoy some of the great scenery that the Adirondack Mountains have to offer.

Our closing event will be on Saturday and we are planning a "Spyder Cruise-In" for that day. You can come for the week, a couple days or "Cruise In" on Saturday to be part of one of the largest grassroots Spyder owner's gathering in the world!

Ok, all my buddies are going, that has me interested. No conflict this year with the troop ride.

We are probably purchasing our RT limited at the end of this month, dependent on how we feel after a day rental. (dealer has put one aside with this in mind.) we have decided this would be a great trip for us on our summer vacation, and was just wondering if anyone from Gatineau, Ottawa, Laurentians area might be going and when? My name is Wayne and my wife is Pierrette,we look forward to meeting many new friends in the Adirondacks!;)

Marilyn, anything on Main St. in Lake Placid is right by the final day event on the olympic skating rink. It is also a very nice place to stay, lots of shops, places to eat, and right on Lake Placid. Last year the check in event was a a BBQ place about 2 to 3 minutes from downtown Main St. We choose to stay in Jay and rent a house for the week becuase we use it as our vacation. This also allows us to bring our dogs and actually saves us money. Since boarding two dogs for 7 days is expensive (225.00 per dog or 450.00 for both ) this way we spend 850 for 7 nights lodging and also boarding for our dogs is included since they just stay at the house when we go out and they also love thedeck at the house we stay at. I hope this years Sita is a huge sucess I don't think they expected it to be as big as it was last year being it's first year but it was fun to see all those spyders :)

The ride is not bad at all from NH --- best to go right up I89 to Burlington and take the Ferry to NY. Give you a chance to stop for food in Burlington Vt--beautiful place and then relax while crossing Lake Champlain by ferry :) Hope you come !

sita

looking forward to a couple of days in the Adirondacks! Making this part of a 1000 mile ride from home to Maine and back thru Lake Placid! yahoooo
