• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2 PROBLEMS IN HAWAII

Yes...you can have troubles in Paradise.

1. Riding to town today and all was well...then loss of power. No warning lights, running cool, 2-4 bars. Full throttle 4000rpm, 44 mph. no real response just slow acceleration in all gears. THEN, every once in awhile it would react to the throttle and almost eject me. Also seems like i used way too much fuel for the ride...60 mile almost 3/4 tank?

2. NO SERVICE IN HAWAII....Besides this major, what the? I'm due for my 6k service?
Any ideas?

Interesting..!!

if I understand the rpms are up but your not moving like you should..?..which would indicate a clutch problem. Oil condition and level. If you are giving it more throttle and there is no response you have a fuel or electrical issue. Fuel pump, fuel filter maybe bad gas. Then spark, ignition or even vacuum lines. Most would give you a code indicating the problem. If you don't have the "My Spyder" for apple or "Spyde Codes" for android app get it, it's free and tells you how to get the codes and what they are and how to deal with them...

Curious..!!

Is the screen orange or any indication you are in limp home mode..?? when in limp mode you are limited to rpm's and speed...:dontknow:

Thanks for the info...RPMS do not increase above 4k no matter what the throttle.

Do you know how to pull up codes? If not, here's how; turn key on, don't start the bike. Go to the start screen. Push in and hold the mode and select buttons and the turn signal button. Watch the screen for any codes. This sounds like an electrical issue. Check the battery voltage level.
