Looking forward to the finish and a ride that is way over due.
Half of the spot. :doorag:Looks good. Will it fit in the same spot?
You can put two in? That would be a great option for those running a lot of lights. Cost?Half of the spot. :doorag:
$269.95!.....Cost?
:yikes: never mind about installing two :lecturef_smilie:$269.95!
If I wasnt intimidated by the cost, and wanted to install 2 of these, what would I need to do? That way I could run all the powered suits, lights and domaflatchies I wanted...
Just wondering![]()
You have the right idea. Running two batteries in parallel would be like adding a larger fuel tank to your battery. The voltage would stay the same but you would have twice the storage of juice. Now you have to decide how you want to replace that juice when used. I went with an isolator that made sure my starting battery was charged first before giving any charge to the spare battery. To be honest, I am not sure, I obviously have some reading to do. I was thinking 2 batteries would allow me to run a multitude of lighting and any other possible mods that require power (heated suits come to mind since it is winter), GPS, Radio, etc...
I thought initially that 1 battery would be dedicated to the bike and 1 to the mods, but some of the lights wont allow for such items if they are wired to do things like be active with the turn signal. However, anything like the halo lights I have could rock off the other battery and the suits / radio / GPS since they would be functional on a separate battery.
Im just thinking outloud. So feel free to shoot me down, obviously I would want to charge both, and that might require something I dont understand because I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to mechanical items, hence why I hang out here and watch videos, read, and attempt to understand!
Thanks
So that gives you some room for storing a shot of nitrous... :2thumbs:Half of the spot. :doorag:
