• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recently started having volume issues with the radio/iPhone connected. It cuts out intermittently (sp) and sometimes has static and stays low then jumps to high volume. This works with my iPhone hooked up and also when the radio is on. Thoughts?

Have an apt this Thursday to get checked. While I am there is there any recalls or bulletins out there? Thanks guys/gals.

I'm having a audio problem with my 2014 RT except I have an intermittent problem with no sound out of the left channel or static when playing music with my Iphone.

I have the BRP Comm System so I thought it was the headset, I turned on the external speakers and still no sound out of the left front and rear speakers. This now eliminated the headset so I decided to try the radio and GPS, now I have sound out of the left and right speakers. This is now isolated to the Ipod cable so I reinserted it and I have sound on the left side but with static sometimes. It seems to be a short in the Ipod connector because it depends on the angle of the cable if I have sound or static issues.

I mention this to my service manager at my 3000 mile service, he gives me a new Ipod cable and I have the same problem. We decide to try this on a few new Spyders on the Showroom floor and discovered the same problem on 1 of the 2 new Spyders.

We suspect it's the Ipod/Audio DIN connector on the Spyder and will replace it under warranty to see if the problem goes away. He ordered the new DIN connector but I haven't had a chance to have it installed it yet since he is over 100 miles away.

I will let you know the results when the DIN connector gets replaced. I have currently been busy trying out my new Sena S20 Headsets.
