• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Okies, doin' the happy dance got the call a a couple hours ago. ;D ;D ;D #1115 Silver will be ready for pick-up tomorrow. That completes the package: Jacket (check) club card & map (check) Spyder ball cap (check) SPYDER!!!!!! (check check)

That's awesome!

Did they give you any notice? I mean......... I've been waiting since Sept. of last year..... but if they called me today and said it would be here tomorrow..... I'd be going nuts.... but I don't know if I'd be able to get up there till the weekend.

Oh.... sorry, LOL

'up there' to me is Ledgewood, NJ...... I'm in Delaware..... like a lot of us Spyder Riders I'm a couple hours from my dealer. :edit:

Well, she's home. Gosh I love coming down Atlantic Blvd here in Jacksonville at 3:45 pm. Not only the fact that almost everybody in a cage is stupid while driving, :edit: ,had to answer questions at every stop light, rolling down the street while someone was hanging out the window wanting to know...."What's that?".......but we're home safe and I haven't stopped smilin yet. Gotta tell ya, Bob and the rest of the staff at Jacksonville Power Sports treated me right. Now I really know what everyone else has been talkin about in here for the last several weeks.......gotta love the Spyder!!!!!! Now to avoid all those questions and get used to the stares.

Congratulations! Enjoy your new stare master! ;D

;D Haha, I like it "stare master", just found a new reply if ya don't mind I use it when someone asks that question. Thanks and thanks to everyone else for the congrats. I really can't believe I went in last July and plopped a grand down on something sight-unseen (I'm rarely considered impulsive!!) As soon as I learn what to do to keep from getting that "side drift" feeling on the straightaways I'll feel more comfy. If anyone has an idea of why I get that feeling, let me know. Other than that, I'm happier than a barn owl in a big mouse cage!!!

Add my congratulations!!

('Course, I'm selfishly thinking, "Hmmm...That must mean MINE is probably # 1116...")

Congrats from Silver #1090! It really is hard to wipe the smile off your face. I can't wait to get some real seat time on mine. It's been a week since we picked it up and of course between work and the weather, I haven't ridden since Monday. :'(

1. Quit your job.

2. Weather? It's got three wheels, what're you worried about?!

(I'm trying to line up a snow tire dealer for mine when it comes in...) ;D

Ok, well I think I've figured out the "drift"....the problem was on the driver's seat :-[ Once I started to relax and let some pressure off the grips, she just seemed to straighten right out.....geesh. Guess I'm still on the learning curve. :spyder:

Sorry I didn't see that post or else I could have told you that. My first 200 miles on the Spyder was murder. I thought for sure I was going to get killed and it was for the same reason. As soon as I relaxed all was well. :doorag:

Nope, no notice. I had called Tuesday as a "regular" follow up, then Wed morning got a call and was told, "Funny thing, someone just pulled up with a big truck and dropped a few Spyders in my driveway, want one?" It was coming out of the crate as we were talking and was ready for pickup on Thursday. Bob says they don't get any prior notice either, they just show up. And no, I didn't sleep much Wed night!! ;D

Great talking to you over on the 'Chat' side Trypod. Hope to see you at Daytona! No excuses! :congrats:
