• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Schuberth c3 SRC communication system

SRC... I had the SRC system in my C3 helmet and also had pairing issues. The early models also had problems with small internal wires breaking. The self contained concept is nice, but the other problems outweighed that. I replaced mine with a Sena unit which has much better audio quality...

POSS.HELPFUL INFO. FOR TIRE WEAR/PROLONGING TIRE LIFE?

Front tire pressure... I've been running 22 psi in the original front tires of my 2010 RT. I have 28,000 aggressive miles on them, and they look almost like new. I have been running 32 psi in my rears (Kenda, Kuhmo, Kuhmo), and getting much better wear from the Kuhmo's.

    2012 RT-S SE5: Rear Suspension (shock)

Rear shock rebound... Lately I've been getting a clank/clack on the rebound side of my rear shock. I have no evidence of the shock bottoming out, but it does occur on the rebound. When the Spyder is unloaded, if I push down on the rear, then pull up... that's when I get the noise. The RT is...

Lifting the rear end of 2012 RTS...

Jacking RT... Once the fronts are up on the ramps, jack under the center frame member towards the rear. You will notice a hole approximately 1/2" in diameter just ahead of where the frame member starts to curve, and this is about as far back as you can safely jack. I made a circular plywood...

radio plug... If you're going to work on these itsy, bitsy pins for the radio plug, then this is the tool you need to properly crimp the connectors. This tool will work with wire sizes 12 through 26, and most plug types.

    2011 RT Rear Tire

Front tires... I find the OEM front tires to be fine. I've got 25k+ on mine, and they should last to at least 35k. I've run them at 22psi from the start.

I could almost SMELL your frustration; you'd start into a turn lined up real nice... and then have to play dodgeball with those that didn't know why they were there... :gaah:  There were several issues that wouldn't allow running a clean line. A pace truck that limited speed, other...

Bob, I know where the apex is, but it's hard to hit when you've got drivers on both sides that are just puttering along and daydreaming. I spent most of the time looking in the mirrors. :banghead: It would have been nice to be able to run the track with fewer cycles, and not be limited by a...

Kuhmo... Eric, I'm on my second Kuhmo. I ran the first a little over 15k... could have run a couple thousand more, but changed it for a long trip. I'm running them at 32 psi and they wear much flatter than the Kenda.

rear wheel alignment... Three things can affect rear wheel alignment... 1.Engine/drive sprocket axis. 2.Rear fork pivot axis. 3. Rear wheel axis. In a perfect world, all 3 should be perpendicular to the frame center line. As Lamont mentions, the main criteria is to have the rear wheel axis and...
