• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good for you, Deb. I rode around the arena a bit Monday. Too much snow here. I'd be stuck in the farm driveway. Spring always has come. C'mon Spring!! ---leo---

    New toy

We have a Kubota M6500 4wd that is used daily. Set up for winter with front loader and 7' 2 stage snow blower, it keeps the manure carried and the snow moved. The heated cab really spoiles me when "the hawk" visits. This diesel tractor is extremely reliable. Even at below 0F temps, it has never...

    THe Pledge of Allegiance

As I watched the video, I am sitting at the beach in Corolla, NC. Seeing the sunrise on our great country, and hearing Red's words, makes me realize afresh how fortunate we are to have liberty and justice FOR ALL. My prayer and hope is that we never allow anyone to destroy or diminsh that for...

How about a poll for the steering recall?

I had the recall update today.[8-7] I don't know how long it took - 'cause the owner took me to lunch. It is 60 miles to my dealership. On the ryde home, I noticed NO difference is steering, idle was a little rough at first, but a blip of throttle cured that. My spyder still rydes GREAT:ohyea...

Say a little prayer for my boys

I recall my parents concern when I was deployed to Viet Nam. It was prayer and communication [via mail in those days] that gave us all strength and perseverance. I will support your family in my prayers. ---frleo---†

    Stupid Parking Break????

When I took delivery of my spYder, the dealer told me to be sure to only use 2 clicks with PB pedal, more would stretch the cable and eventually cause problems. When properly adjusted, it takes only 2 clicks and the bike remains secure. After over a year of rYding, I have had to use 3 clicks...

    Queen Windscreen

My face is already full of scars, and I always ryde with full face helmet.(It is seldom HOT here in the Enchanted Mountains) But MM makes a very good point. I have the EIII slider and the 777 windscreens. I have banged my helmet on the top of the screens just getting off the spYder. I'm not...

    Enchanted Mountain rYding

I was looking at Deb's video of the group ride thru the CA hills. Since I live in a valley between mountains, every spYder ride to town involves roads that are twisty, BUT not nearly as well maintained. The winter freezes take their toll. So, if any are ever in NW PA, shout me out and we'll...

    hydraulic hand activated brakes.

At one point in the procedure, I was told that the master cylinder was being custom built at a local machine shop. I'm not certain what was finally used. All I cared was that it worked well. Contact Pioneer if you want to know details. ---leo---
