• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Steering ABC's

No offense taken. When trying to ride at the limit that the nanny will allow WITHOUT intervening, it IS possible to get these functions to opperate independently of each other by JUST exceeding the trigger limits for either the Traction control (engine cutout) or the anti-tip over (ABS on...

    Steering ABC's

Can't help ya here, I haven't experienced this myself. My comments here are not intended to address any of the issues people are having with steering annomolies. I am only trying to explain the things I have observed the VSS doing on MY :spyder2:. It has been a learning experiance figuring this...

    Steering ABC's

I don't think so. Only side forces that exceed the accelerometer trigger point will cause the nanny to brake the outside wheel only. Therefor, it would NOT happen in a straight line situation or be caused by rough roads alone. If you were under braking, the ABS would let off the brake on the...

    Steering ABC's

See my post above. IMHO it could be a VSS issue.

    Steering ABC's

Actually not true. I've been under power in a corner and had the nanny use the brake on the outside wheel, to the point the brakes will smoke, without any interruption to the engine power, not once but many times. It is not required that a wheel lift for this to happen, only that there is...

    HOGBACK Rendezvous

I went out today with the :spyder2: here in KY, but FORGOT MY CAMERA! The colors were about as good as they get here. When ya' going? My :spyder2: won't be back in that region for few more months, but if y'all do it in the spring count me in. I grew up 8 miles from the site of the Waterbury...

Ordered Toyo Proxes T1R Rear Tire

Well, after riding the Smokeys for a week, my rear tire is down past the wear bars in the center. Only got ~7k miles out of this one, over 12k on the first one :dontknow:. I just ordered the Toyo T1R that Lamonster has on his online for $143.50 delivered and some more Ride-On. About the same...

Audible click when braking to a stop.

The ABS system makes a slight rapid clicking sound as it modulates the braking system. This MAY be what you are hearing, and if so, it is normal.
