• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Digital gauge accuracy confirmed

Just my opinion, but I've never had a bike that I didn't use the trip odometer as a fuel gauge. Harley gauges were always a joke, but the Goldwing had a very accurate fuel gauge. Regardless, I always would just reset the trip odometer when I fueled up, and depending on the range of the bike, I'd...

    FINALLY - She's HOME and she's BEAUTIFUL

Is it an RT, RS, SEMI AUTO? Any details? Regardless of what it is, they all look great! Congratulations:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Was there a reason why it took 6 months, or is that a normal lead time if you order one? I apologize if I'm prying, but I'm just curious about the long wait from...

    A Mexican in Mexico

I've only been to Cairo (NY) and Peru (MA) :sour: About 160 miles round trip! I guess I need to see more of the world. ;) BTW....... Those are some nice looking bikes! I like the new Goldwing, but I'm partial to the Spyder!

Most of us (myself included) spend our lives searching for our purpose in lyfe

Life is good:2thumbs: When ever any of us get to enjoy anything as much as you just stated, we should consider ourselves blessed! :)

    My first year...

JJW & Riker, As I read this post I was struck with the realization that with all my years of riding motorcycles, being an Iron Butt member, and putting on well over 100k miles in the last ten years alone, that both of you are far more experienced riders than I am when it comes to a Spyders:)...

PROBLEMS WITH MY NEW RT. AM I THE ONLY ONE WITH THESE PROBLEMS?

I'm not so sure about the expert thing! I think thats a point of reference. For newbies like myself, your knowledge and experience puts you in that classification simply by comparison to those of us who know nothing! ;) Thanks for the pictures. Very informative!

    First Spyder ride

So very true! Also as Bob said, the learning curve can be steep! Especially going into twisty's! At first it feels like it wants to throw you off it, but then it becomes fun and that feeling goes away. You change the way you ride the Spyder almost without realizing it! All the miles, all the...

    Small drops on garage floor

Dib52, I can understand and appreciate where you are coming from. I'm guessing I have around the same amount of mileage as you because I'm just about due for the 600 mile service too. With the Spyder RT being so new, and so uniquely different to me, I have no idea what is normal and what isn't...

    trailer or trailer

IMHO (actually my very opinionated opinion;) ) I have never understood the idea of trailering a bike. For me it's always been about the fun of the ride. As they say " it's about the journey, not the destination". With the Spyder, the concept of trailering it, makes even less sense! My vote...

    P1614 again

Well actually I won't know it when I see it. I can understand the "Check Engine", but I'm red/green color blind. So orange could be red, or green to me or maybe even yellow. I just wouldn't know. Having said that, is the "check engine" and orange screen one and the same? Or does the screen turn...
