• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Bike Barn?

I have one. When I bought my Moto Guzzi I got one, figuring I would add a sidecar. I live in rainy Seattle and it is pretty good about keeping things dry but not warm. Humidity is still there. I also get green algae all the time...on the outside. Not on the bike. The front got some...

    New Can-Am Rider here

A month ago I bought my RT about a month ago and am at about 2000 miles. Just this past weekend I started getting over my fear of high speed sweeping turns, especially on the highway. Part of the solution was to look further ahead down the road, and to lock in my arm on the outside of the...

Total Fun I'm excited for you, because, I can tell you I am still excited for me! I've been riding about a month, and for the first time in 29 years of marriage, my wife wants to ride with me on a bike... OUR Spyder RT. This morning we bought her first motorcycle jacket, then went for a...

Hi To All - First Post Here - Jack

A month ago I bought mine about a month ago and have about 1700 miles on it. I still have a bit of nervousness on the freeway, but love it. I'd thought about Spyders for years. My wife was on the test ride and became a fan. No other bike had interested her. Welcome!

    Finally bought a new Spyder!

more thoughts I have been driving about a month, so new, too. Also, plant the foot firmly that is on the outside of the curve... and don't be afraid to push firmly on that outside handlebar. Enjoy! I sure am! Bryan

    Wind Buffeting

Thoughts from OP Thanks for all the feedback... very helpful. Though there are some varying opinions here, what I got out of this was what is bothering me the most is the buffeting of the entire bike, especially from strong winds and passing semis. Some of that is a given, but the majority...

    Wind Buffeting

I've just completed my first ever trike trek on my 2015 RT, and had a wonderful time. http://triketrek.com/?p=220 But.... I hated being on the freeways. I was being thrown about by every gust of wind. Even a passing VW bug, yes, I drive like an old man, threw me about. At about 55 is...

    My First Trike Trek

old engine vs new I've seen this come up several times in the forum. Old engine VS new. If the manual says 600 miles, others here say it is wrong. It was right for the old engine, not for the 1330. When I check the online service schedule that is supported.

    Trike Trek 1: Day 2 and 3

I'll write more later, as it's late and I am pooped, but here are some scenes from the last two days, with more at triketrek.com. Later I'll fill int he details on the ghost town, the rich guy from the big city who got figuratively shot down in his efforts to restore the city... and a police...

Giant chickens and motorcycle crazy boys

Honestly, I was so excited I could hardly sleep. I’d spoken of a trip such as this so many times my wife would start to get “that look”whenever I started in. “Why don’t you just take a week and go on an adventure?”, she’d say. I needed the right vehicle, and with my 2015 RT, I had it. I woke...

    1400 plus mile ride

Me, too. That's great. I am heading out for about 900 miles tomorrow. Here's hoping my bike is as good as yours was! Should be! Those F3's look good.

    My First Trike Trek

Bought my 2015 RT Special Series red/black almost three weeks ago, and I have about 600 miles on it. Tomorrow I head out on a trip that will surely add another 900 plus. https://trips.furkot.com/ts/yke8zq This gives a map and outline of my run. I'll write about it on TrikeTrek.com, my...

    garmin 2597 is bad

fixed.. within reason It appears as though Highway Mode doesn't work so well on this model at least. But, if you take it out of highway mode and carefully add waypoints that are off the highway, it will do well. In this way you can do a mix of highway and non-highway easily.

    Potential Buyer

Hmm I have an RT, and had some back problems, but just installed a Utopia Products seatback and it feels much better in the back. The RT has big floorboards so no issue there. As to a test ride, I had my trike license... and had no problem getting a ride.. and it's what sold me. Push on...
