• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. 1400 plus mile ride

Just got back from a great week long ride. Rode from Temecula, Ca. To Reno, Nevada.
Spent 5 days there doing local rides, one day we rode completely around Lake Tahoe.
What a beautiful place to ride and see some amazing sights. The F3S did a great job on road. No issues at all.
IT was fun to ride, took the mountains on, had plenty of power, took the curves like it was on rails.
Only complaint was on the return ride we got hammered with a heavy rain storm, the F3S handled the wet roads without hydoplaning.
But the windshield is to short to keep the rain off my chest, face, and hands. Because it rarely rains in Sunny California, my selection of
rain gear didn't help to keep me dry either.
I love the F3S but I do have to get some saddlebags, to carry gear in and a place to lock my helmet up in.
All in all it was a great trip, I'll be smiling for weeks.
Now quite reading this and get out there an ride.

Just got home from a ride around Lake Tahoe
Then went over Monitor Pass back to Bridgeport
I ride around Lake Tahoe and over to Yosemite a lot since I live close to both :yes:

Me, too.

That's great. I am heading out for about 900 miles tomorrow. Here's hoping my bike is as good as yours was! Should be!

Those F3's look good.

:congrats: on your great ride. Another vote here for the Lake Tahoe area. Did not have time to go all around, but did do South, East, and West sides the one and only time I was in the area.

Temecula, CA

Retired 2012, are you from Temecula, CA? I am looking for others in the Temecula, CA area to ride with. If you are from Temecula area, do you plan on going to the NorCal event?

We're starting a 1300 mile/3-Day ride on Sunday...

...spending a bunch of time with crazy folks on the darndest-looking machines... :D :yes::yes:

... and then heading back home: probably with a 1200 mile/2-day ride!
