• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Windshields

There doesn't "appear" to be any adverse effect but from experience the larger the windscreen the more "stress" on the OEM windscreen arm. Nothing may happen or effect with windscreen height but as many have experienced the Windscreen arm can break without any notice. Keep a regular check and...

International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach

They were basically a no show at the Sydney Australia Motor Cycle show as well, except for two F3's on display at the entrance to the show. A BRP rep told me they were channelling their resources elsewhere (and it was a matter of priorities) but would have a display stand in Australia at next...

Replace pins and circlips screen support 2011 RT Ltd for 2012 model

Fitting my replacement arm will lessen that lateral movement and you may not need to do any thing else. I suggest you install the arm first and then see if you need to replace the bushes in the outside two arms. Note: you will need to reinstall the two bushes on the center arm. Cheers.

    Dead Battery

I did the exact thing the other day with my 2015 RTS. I got out my battery Charger (an ARLEC 4), put it on high Charge and within 4 hours the bike battery was back to normal. Even the clock came up as the correct time.

Seat Cover for RT with driver backrest.

The "Good Wool Store" here in Australia make a great "raincoat" cover for the RT seat which also fits over the seat Backrest and is Custom made to suit exactly that. I have one for my RT and it's great and easy to fit and protects my Wollen seat cover in the rain or when I wash the bike.

Adventures in Windshield Control Arm Replacment

I have updated the fitting instructions to include heating up the screws (and or Impact driver). I have also suggested a light filing of the end of the hex Shaft as some have found it to be a very tight fit getting the new arm on.

    Windshield Arm Replacement Dilemma

Oh Nooooooooo not looking good :( Others have been applying heat to the screws (with a Soldering iron ) before removal and or using an impact driver to assist in getting them out. You could still apply heat not to try and get them out but it looks like they'll need to be drilled out. Also...

Windshield arm replacement problem. Thoughts requested

The standard configuration is Torx on one side and Phillips on the other. But then again it could be depending on how the assembly line feels and what they have at hand at the time.

I agree, and why have Torx screws on one side and Phillips on the other

    Opinions Needed on Windshield Arm

Yes 2014 and 2015 models have broken. And yes some have taken off the Windscreen on the side of the road. Note: if your bike is still under Warranty you might want to look at a replacement under warranty. We have had dealers replace with the Billet arm and covered it under warranty.

    Opinions Needed on Windshield Arm

All Valid comments and everyone to their own choice. We made the arm purely for a safety prospective. When it lets go at Highway speed it may not hit you but the chance of losing control and having some sort of accident is all Possible. The work involved in making these arms does not justify...
