• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No riding for a while :(

Unless he has changed recently his is a SM, like mine, so left ankle would be worse. Hand brake could be a solution if it's an extended recovery period.

I was getting worried, thought I missed a filter! :yikes: Didn't know that the SE's have two, the SM's only one, whew !!!

Unless this is your second or third Spyder, ryding that far on an unfamiliar machine may not be the wisest thing. I bought mine on a whim in Texas, have had many, many years riding two wheelers. I never considered ryding it from Texas to Georgia ( now that Iv'e had it a couple of years ...

Not silly at all, heat exhaustion is a huge problem when riding. Wishing you the best and keep on posting. I just ordered something to try to beat the heat myself, from Duluth Trading Co, their Men's Armachillo Cooling Short Boxer Briefs and Men's Armachillo Long Sleeve Cooling Shirt...

I did it. Twice actually. Used PlastiDip first as wanted to be able to go back if I didn't like it. Well...loved it, but like some say it has to be touched up especially if you have a friend who wanted to sit on it and scraped her rings on it :banghead:. So, I peeled it off, bought some...

Can't speak to the 998s but have seen a pic of a 1330 primary muffler/cat off a 2014RT. It was cut open and there is no catalytic converter in it!

Came time to change insurance carriers....again.

Interesting. Just switched today from Geico to Foremost (AARP), 65% less than what I had been paying, same coverage. Pays to shop around as prices seem to vary greatly from company to company.

    Bumpshid

I have the unlit version, because there wasn't a lit version available back then, But I do have LED strip lights on the fenders (standard RT fenders) so not sure I would have gone the extra $ anyway. Have some really tall bumper stops here so its come in handy and many driveways are very steep...

And they are sponsoring the #32 car driven by Bobby Labonte. But was also surprised at lack of commercials during an event they sponsored.
