• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Top case I had to order mine when I purchased the bike in Feb. 17 as they were not available till Apr.,but I have no regrets at all. The size of the opening and the rest of the case is so much more user friendly than the RT.

    Switch There is a thread on this if you do a search. I fixed mine with a small piece of plastic under the switch to make better contact with the post that pushes the switch arm.

    RT's I had a 13Rts with a 990 then moved up to a 15Rts with a 1330 which was a big improvement engine tranny, but when I test drove an F3 and could stretch my legs out I knew that would be my next bike. as for the loss of space in the saddle bags and the trunk, I don't seem to miss it that much...

    Brake failure alarm message

    Brake Fluid I had a 13 Rts that was sensitive to the brake fluid level. It had about 10k miles or so and the brakes had enough wear on them for the fluid level to be low enough to show (brake failure) on the dash. It seemed like it only took about 3 table spoons of fluid to top it off.

    2018 RT AUDIO SYSTEM SUCKS!!!

    Radio My 16 F3T will play MP3 music from the Lightning cable and show it on the dash, but quit playing Spotify. I now have to use the aux input cable for audio and Lighning cable to charge my phone. Tried it on a 17 model and had the same results.

    Top case I replaced the USB outlet in the top case with a standard cigarette lighter style outlet then plug in a USB adapter.

    Battery maintainer The maintainer I have and really like is a Schumacher SHMSPC 3. It has a full digital readout, 3 different connect leads, and a collapsible hook to hang it on your handle bar.

    Rotation I've always heard it's not a good idea to swap tires left and right, directional or not. Unless you were to dismount and remount the tires.
