• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Searching for Replacement Seat

I seem to always have stock seat issues with my bikes. I have purchased some kind of aftermarket seat for at least 10 bikes. Each time is was a comfort issue, not a style issue. Most of them solved the problem. Sergent, Mustang, Custom rebuilds, all worked great. The BRP Comfort seat (which I...

darn trunk case and ease of installation revisited..

It works great and I have less that $100 in the whole set up. I bought the extra center piece from someone on the board but a new one is only $70 from BRP so it is not a huge deal. I thought I had pics of it in my album but I dont. It was so simple I guess I just skipped it. All you have to do...

darn trunk case and ease of installation revisited..

I mounted a JC whitney top case on my sport rack center section by drilling holes in it. I had to space it up one inch to clear the little hump but now I can remove the thing along with the center of the rack. I purchased a second center section that can be clipped in when I dont want the trunk...

    Anybody using these wheels?

That's funny, I did a search and it took me like 5 seconds to find them. http://www.industries7.com/stuff/Black_Widow_Pub.pdf Anyway, here you go! They do look real nice but for me, this is one of those things that does not have a function, so I could not justify them. Now a set of 17's...

    The ultimate programable nanny

I don't mind it braking on entry but ..... Man, If you could just make it "get off the corner" better, I would be all over it. If you could just get back to the throttle earlier on exit your "lap times" would drop a whole bunch and the "fun factor" would increase exponentially. I hate that it...

    Overboard or not??

I'm not saying it is likely but if mine catches fire, I would rather not be ..so prepared. I would hate to save it and depend on someone to try and fix it after the wiring was burnt up! I would rather let insurance buy me a new one.

    Motorcycle Jack

I have one like in the yellow one in the pic and it works fine, but if I had a do-over I would get this one. http://www.harborfreight.com/high-position-motorcycle-lift-99887.html It goes a lot higher!

    Tire pressures? (Again!)

I have been running 20 front and 25 rear. It is still wearing the center of the rear but the burnout mark is the same black all the way across! (old dragster trick, dark edges more air, dark center less air)

    Rear Tire Options

The Yokohama ES100's while still available have been discontinued. I have a set of 3 in the shop that I will be putting on soon. (185/60's for the front) My point is: if you want them you might better get em while you can.....
