• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Blog-My first self inflected problem

Obviously Lamont is not the responsible type person that BRP can trust with the RT. They had better remove him as one of the chosen few and of course.....replace him with me :ohyea::ohyea::2thumbs::2thumbs::clap::clap:

    Carlo Responds

OK here goes and I appologize in advance if I offend anybody. Being in the line of work that I am (firefighter) I have to tell you that not every fire (vehicle or structure or anthing else for that matter) has a cause determined. In many cases the cause is just stated as "undetermined". To...

    6k New front tires

I have almost 12000K on my bike and the front tires still look to be in really good shape with no uneven wear. I do not have the sway bar but I do have Ride-on in the tires (not that that makes a difference to this issue). My gut feeling is that you were met with a very big sh*t shovel !

    2010 Spyders?

I will be blunt, very blunt. This is Lamont's board and we are all just his guests. If we don't like it go somewhere else, that is your choice. I plan on staying here because it is Lamont's Board and he runs in with the same morals and ethics that I have which makes me feel comfortable here. In...

Potential Buyer - Time to Stay Clear of a Spyder

I am sorry I could not hold off on responding to this. I am a profesional firefighter and fighting fires is what I do for a living. I can not count the number of vehicle fires I have been to over my 18 year career. I can tell you GM's catch fire, Ford's catch fire, Chryslers catch fire...

    RoboBrackets

Hey Madstad welcome to the forum. I truthfully would have loved to try your brackets but since they were not ready at the time I was ready for the new windshield I had to go with what was available on the market. I have no doubt that your brackets are equivalent if not better then the CHAD.

    RoboBrackets

Hey Deb the only thing that I don't like about the robobrackets and of course the original CHAD bracket is just how far away from the console both brackets move the windshield. With both it almost appears that the windshield is "floating" in air above and in front of the console. This may appeal...

    RoboBrackets

I actually modified the CHAD bracket by cutting the two pieces that mount to the windshield down in size because I found that at the highest point the CHAD bracket held the windshield almost 4 inches off of the console and it really did not look all that good with the BRP windshield. Cutting...

    RoboBrackets

I was able to get just the adjusting bracket for the CHAD minus the windscreen and used the BRP 23" instead pf teh CHAD . It works wonders.

New temp gauge with bar readings

I assume that the removal of the fan relay and failure to reinstall it was just an oversight. I would not ever suggest leaving the relay unplugged not for the very fact that the computer will complain but also I would not want to ever rely solely on me to turn the fan on with the switch. I am...

New temp gauge with bar readings

As per the shop manual an error code of P0480 is as follows: Involved Module: ECM Description: Radiator fan relay shorted to battery + Cause: damaged fan, relay, damaged circuit wires, damaged connector or damaged ECM output pins Service Action: Disconnect radiator fan. measure voltage between...

    Police Spyder

I personally would love to see more police services trying out the spyder. It sorta gives the spyder more of a legitimate place in the motorcycling world. When "Joe Public" sees a Harley being used as a police bike they think "that Harley must be a good bike if the police are using it". Right...
