• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have my Gremlin (Guardian Angel) Bell mounted low under my RT-S in front of rear tire hanging from the swing-arm pivot point. I have them on my Honda Valkyrie Interstate, all four of our bicycles, and even one in my Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition Super Charged Trick Truck...

changing rts 2010 front shocks to 2011 shocks

I think dollar for dollar, the Elka's are the better buy. I understand and appreciate your math, however, I hated the stock RT-S 2010 shocks as the byke was so vastly under sprung. Every time I would go into a curve or turn the roll would scare the crud out of me. Besides that, I wanted a...

    Maybe another GPS mounting option?????

I am using my cell phone (Sprint EVO 4G) with GPS on and broadcasting to a Bluetooth receiver in trunk. The phone can either be in the rear charging or in the GIVI 890S Universal GPS carrier I have for the handle bars. I have run a charging port up front so I have my phone plugged in, capable...

    Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 UPDATE

I have been running RP transmission fluid in my Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Super Charged Truck now for about 5 months and the truck have never shifted better (130k miles on the bad-boy)! I just replaced the Mobile 1 I had been using to RP 5W-30 in the truck and can honestly tell you the engine...

changing rts 2010 front shocks to 2011 shocks

I thought about changing out the 2010 stockers for the 2011's but in the long run went with the Elka's as I had heard from numerous BRP dealers that the stockers don't have a very long life, are basic and don't offer the response for more aggressive ryding...etc. I am also a rather large fellow...

I did it! First Ride of the year--3/3/11

Been out around twenty times or so this past month and now these couple of days of March. Of course 45 to 65 degrees here in Alabama is different to the 25 degrees up in Alaska. Man it's been a long winter and I can't wait to really get out there and ryding!nojoke

    iPod Cable

I recently added the BRP rear deck lid kit for @ $45.00 or so I think. This allows the cellphone, iPod, wallet, keys, and other crap to not slip down into the neither reaches of the trunk. :dontknow: I have to agree the BRP supplied iPod cable is a bit of a problem the way it is configured.

    CHILDREN AS PASSENGERS?...is it ok?

I agree with the "Buddy Belt" for those under 7 as I did use the similar for my youngest as she wanted to ride at 5 (around neighborhood only). I used an old belt of mine and strapped her into the comfort of the rear of my 2001 Valkyrie Interstate. :ohyea:

    CHILDREN AS PASSENGERS?...is it ok?

My two daughters have ridden with me for years, actually since they were both around 7 or 8 on my motorcycles and now on my RT-S. I agree that their feet need to reach the pegs, but they should also wear the same gear you are wearing to include long pants (no shorts or clam-diggers), real shoes...
