• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gotta love the GIVI and Corbin products you have on there. What's up with the "Colts" stuff you got on your ryde for a SF based gal!!??? :dontknow: :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I am seriously interested in the HMF and want to know if there are any issues with the installation of it. I am tired of having to fix the heat shields on the Hindle. They are back to rattling again and driving me nuts.

Her hindle is now my hindle and the rivets are coming loose. What did you do to correct this?

She's SF based now but she's an Indiana girl. This is a 49ers and Colts household. She's been a Colts fan since they were pitiful and I've been a 49ers fan since they were awesome. Now the tables are turned but we both cheer for both.

I was born and raised in Indianapolis and I've been a die hard Colts fan since I was freshly out of diapers. I've been in California for 11 years now.

I drilled them out and used a slightly larger rivet. It is time to do it once again, and then I may not be able to do it anymore. Someone else on here actually used a bolt and some nuts, but I didn't really want to go that route yet.

Buy a HMF. :roflblack:

This will probably be what I end up doing after I cannot fix it with new rivets anymore. :D

Hindle?

Question for the group. My :spyder2:'s bill of sale states that it has a "Tuyau Echap. Racing Exhaust." Is that a Hindle? If it is, I sure hope it does not give me the kind of trouble mentioned in some of posts here. I do not think my "racing exhaust" is loud, but what do I know? Would the speed one drives have any effect on rattling or ongoing problems? I have only driven mine once and doubt if I ever drive it in 5th gear.:spyder:

SpyderGirl... :2thumbs:
Just an Olphart here... I learned my lesson after fooling around with 2-stroke pipes on my snowmobiles... If you leave the exhaust end of the bike alone you won't have nearly as much time wasted tinkering...

Looking at the picture of your Spyder, I would say that you have the Hindle exhaust.
