• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Torque settings for the rear rotor, caliper, and axle nut on 2013?

I have the 2014 RTS. I just changed my tire 3 days ago and the torque settings were: Rear Caliper Bolt - 77 ft. lbs. Rear Rotor - 68 ft. lbs. Rear Axle Nut - 166 ft. lbs. Definitely appears to be some discrepancies in these numbers with different years. And YES, just tighten the right side...

    Something really stupid people do

Totally agree with you! Putin is very unstable at the moment and no telling what he / his mind is capable of doing. All those sanctions may have been, and possibly are what's motivating his craziness. Greed and Power. I have read where other Russian influentials have tried to reason with him...

Thinking of Switching to a Ryker

My Spyder came with the foot boards. I purchased it that way from another party. So not sure if they are aftermarkets, or not. They look like standard Spyder foot boards to me, from what I have seen advertised. Being that I have occasional sciatica back pains, the difference for myself...

    Something really stupid people do

:agree: President Zelensky and his people were underestimated. Courage, Hope, Determination and Survival, are all you have in times like these.

Thinking of Switching to a Ryker

newbert.......Not sure if you have seen this youtube video by Pierre. He speaks of the lower back issues people suffer from, who ride the F3, and are having because of the placement of the foot pegs put excessive pressure on the back, and how floor boards are a great solution. Check it out, if...

Thinking of Switching to a Ryker

I totally agree with the others here. Foot boards might just be the fix to lessen your wide sitting stance. Pegs tend to make your legs spread out further. Thus putting more pressure on your hips. Maybe ride another's RT, and possibly with a backrest, and see how their's would feel under your...

Need to know Jacking points using a floor jack?

Great Question, fuelie60! I, too, have always wondered about using my low boy hydraulic jack to raise the entire front, without damage. PERFECT! Thanks, Mike! Rick

Fuel (GAS) price where you live

Ain't that the truth! We are still holding at $4.59 in our area. It's amazing how "fast it shot up"..... but "how slow it is in coming down".

This is how our Spyder Axle Adjusters work!

Thanks Al, but have to give credit ( another  forum member, who's name escapes me ? ) where credit is due. Edited: Credit to Pegasus1300 Knowing I had a tire change coming up this season, I did my due diligence and searched for the best, and easiest, method to tackle this. As we all...

This is how our Spyder Axle Adjusters work!

Installed new tire today. Removed my rear wheel and this was the technique I used as well with the TAPE. Worked great at holding the adjuster caps in place. And another useful tip from another forum member, that worked great also, was using a ratchet strap through the rear wheel and clamped to...

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.......

You're too kind! Thanks for joining in with your long forgotten, and "catchy", tune as well. Earlier I did watch a youtube video of Tiny Tim. Why, I really have no clue :dontknow:. So now I'll be going to bed with the "tulips" stuck in my head....... again! :banghead: Every now and...

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.......

Sorry Peter! :roflblack: Oh, Just be careful of those "tulip" high notes, they could be detrimental. Glad to hear you're getting in as much riding as can be allowed. We have had our share of wet wintry weather on this side, and am now looking forward to hopefully a great riding season here...

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.......

Oh Yes, I remember Tiny Tim well, he and his little Ukele with infamous song. I believe, if my memory serves me, that was his only big hit. He was quite the character too. Sorry to hear your weather isn't very cooperative. On the flip side, ours is just momentarily, as we have a Cold front...

Mix of Flat paint and shiny paint surfaces, what do you clean it with?

:agree: Best way to dry any M/C. Gets all the water out of those little hard to reach / dry cracks and crevices. Rick

Need help with sourcing U-fit slider clamp?!

I have ordered from both these sites with great results. Although, BRP Parts House has been a bit slow with parts in stock ( out of stock ) and long delivery delays. Probably best to call either place and confirm IF they do indeed have the parts IN STOCK. Rick

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.......

Ha Ha, now that I have you humming to this Mr. Rogers theme song, thought I'd share my ride today with you. It was an absolute beautiful day, started the morning ride around 11:00, approx temp was 55, and rose rather quickly to a high of 70 plus by the time we ended our 120 mile round venture...
