• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I have a 14 RT .... and NO heat scoops .... No issues at 125 F in bumper to bumper traffic .... If you need to replace OEM Panel heat shields .... there are many options on summitracing .com or in most Auto parts stores .....good luck ...Mike :thumbup:

    A 90 degree valve was not available ... I did use one from Kurveygirl, and it was listed as 87 degrees.... no matter .... At my first rear tire change I drilled a new valve hole on the other side of the wheel .... it has to be at least one inch in from the BEAD area to insure the tire change...

    I dis-aree .... I've a had lot of Mtc's .... I've not used found any that would allow NEGATIVE Throttle, not by a cable system, nor a by WIRE system. .... and IMHO adding ...OTHER types of CC systems into this discussion just complicates things .....Mike :thumbup:

    I'm not Ed Mat .... he's right about the speed going back to what it was set for .... However, the '24 isn't the First Spyder to do that .... to my knowledge the CC has worked this way since it was offered ....Mike :thumbup:

    I carry a 750 ml glass liquor bottle (it's rectangular in shape) attached to the inside of my trunk ... Liquor bottles don't leak, not even fumes. ... My 14 RT with 1330 eng. safely gets 235 mi. if the gas tank is filled to the lip. ... where I ride in Vermont, even in sparsely populated areas...

    I have a 14 RT and use my CC quite a bit .... I can accelerate and then release the throttle and the speed returns to what it was set at..... If I'm going say 60 mph and want to go slower I either have to TAP the brake pedal, manually decelerate using the CC switch or downshift ....good luck...
