• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I have re-installed my cat delete. Although my wife was enjoying the quieter ride with the stock catalytic converter, I noticed again how much heat it throws off compared to the cat delete. She said it was okay to put the cat delete back on, the sound isn't too much louder and she wanted me to be comfortable. What a great wife she is!

I actually did take her by the dealership and showed her the Ryker. With the $2000+ rebates on leftover 2024's they have some great deals. Especially on the 600 cc Rykers. For my 260 pounds, it would be a bit small, but for her 5'-1" small frame, it would be perfect.
That sounds like the perfect way to round out a ride.

My Son and I went for a 'Twilight' ride last night, maybe 45 minutes or so before the Sun set. Temps were about 75 Deg F with fairly high humidity, but that made it feel cooler, which we enjoyed after having 90 degree days recently. The slower pace was very enjoyable, because knowing our area in SW Missouri (64836) is over populated with Whitetail Deer, we kept the speed down to about 45 mph max, which both 2025 RT Limited's enjoyed as we perused our Rural country roads, before pulling into our Farm driveway.(y)

Springtime in the South brought LOTS of yellow pollen, and then a lot of rain. Of late, the T'storms pop up suddenly and sporadically, opening the conversation from Mother Nature with winds, then lightning/thunder. The rain is just Her way to offer relief.
Today, my Spyder thanked me for cleansing her body parts, in preparation for more adventures. In the 90°F/100% humidity, I was as wet as if I'd turned the hose on myself, but the job's done and we both feel better.

I am a Member of a Club called: ROMEO; Retired Old Men Eating Out and we meet once per week to visit Restaurant's, within about a 100 mile round trip - Rain or Shine, Hot or Freezing, whether on our Motorcycles, 3 wheeled Trikes included, or many times in our 'Cowboy Cadillac's,' and normally 30 to 50 show up! Yesterday, we met at a Restaurant located about 10 miles from my Home and the roads into town are 99% Curvy, Rural roads! It was about 75 degrees, clear and blue skies, with no wind. The smell of freshly cut Fescue Hay was in the air and my Hay was being bailed when I returned Home. 45 to 55 MPH seems exactly what my new '25 RT Limited was made for!(y)

Didn't do nothing to the Spyder. It just sat there and watched me. July is thunder-boomer time in North Florida. The water in the Gulf of America has heated up and every day the thunder storms form over the water. Their normal path is to come across North Florida from the Gulf heading North-East, then up the Atlantic coast line. Advantage is the daily rains help cool off the 100° F+ July temperatures. I took the bench lathe apart, wiped it down, and put a fresh coat of way oil on it. Not getting too far from some place that is well grounded with a roof on it today.
