Key word there: - "they"
It has to be "they" - if it was 'we', then 'we' would be over 100 years old!
Hindsight is always 20/20
Gwolf did not say that. Carl Sagan said that, and it was clearly credited to him.

I dunno that '...is always...' is quite correct there - that implies that you can always see perfectly in hindsight, which is patently not always true!!It has to be "they" - if it was 'we', then 'we' would be over 100 years old!

I've met more'n just 'a few' people who would have difficulty achieving 20/2000 vision in hindsight on anything, cos they were just sooo bloody oblivious to the possibility that they might actually learn ANYTHING from looking back on their own or anyone else's experiences!! The sad news is, most of them were supposed 'leaders' &/or in leadership roles!!
The saying I've heard used more often, and used myself, is "It's easy to have 20/20 vision, in hindsight!" which implies you might be more able to clearly see things that you missed in the heat of the moment when you're looking back on them.
