• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    20,000 mile review.....sweet and simple.

Over 10K - ZERO problems F3T Limited is a terrific machine. Well thought out. Did a 58-day 9,500-mile cross-Canada/USA ride earlier this year. Hauling a trailer the F3 hit 37.7MPG across the Plains. Impressive. Had the belt tightened at first service. Other than that it ran flawlessly...

    distance travel

9500 miles in 58 days on 2017 F3T Limited. Zero problems. 2 oil changes. Pulling a trailer, got close to 38MPG on level ground, same as partner riding a 2015 RT without trailer. Great bike for long distance cruising.:2thumbs:

Pictures from my 28 day 9100 miles and 19 states trip out west

Good for you! Looks like we covered much of the same territory. I just got back from 58-day, 9500-mile journey through Canada and U.S. We call it the "2017 International Hotel/Motel, Restaurant and Gas Station Tour". You made it farther south than I was willing to go in July. Got to 107...

    Heads up from Canada

Stayed in the Sandman Hotel across the river from Montreal last night. This morning a hotel employee tells me that he interrupted what he believed to be the theft of my new F3. He said six "muscle bound" young guys had surrounded the bike. Behind them was a pickup with a long trailer. His...

Thanks, all I knew I could count on you for info. Even for info I wasn't expecting ... bacon, for example. The Spyders are cleaned/polished and sitting in the garage staring at roadmaps. Going to DMV this morning to register newly arrived trailer. My apologies to our Canadian...

Hey, all -- Wife and I will be leaving NC next Thursday for Valcourt. Booked at Grand Times Hotel, Sherbrooke. We're thinking about doing it up right and taking the Trans Canada Highway all the way west thru the Canadian Rockies to Washington state. I have the route pretty well mapped out in...

    AIR HORN

Wolo BigBoys I had dealer in Chattanooga install Wolos on both of my 2015 RTs. Then I came home and installed the BRP horns on my John Deere X304 lawn tractor . Now I'm the horniest guy around :roflblack:

    Size trailer needed?

16' works fine Hauled 2 RTs around the east coast in a 7x16 enclosed roundnose trailer. First tryke went in nose first. Second went butt first. Drove the rear tires onto extra large furniture glides so the back ends could be moved easily left and right. It's a close fit so a well-planned...

    Advice on covers

Thinking about a couple half covers for 2015 RTs on extended ride next summer, including Quebec in June :D. Don't really see the advantage over full covers other than packing size and weight. What say you riding veterans? Any views on particular products. Punji Nantahala National Forest...

    RT half covers

I'm thinking about a couple half covers for our 2015 RTs for an extended trip next June (including Quebec ;)). But I'm uncertain of any advantages over a full cover, other than traveling size/weight. Your experienced opinions are gratefully welcome. Specific product recommendations more than...

    Couple of lighting questions

Marker light removal Surprisingly simple for Canam. With thumbs side by side, push in and up on bottom half of housing. Entire housing moves up about 1/2 inch. Slide fingernail or knife blade under bottom edge and carefully pry housing free. Bulb holder is accessed in back, although...
