• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Eco I used it when I first got the bike last month:yes:, it show's you when to shift gears. Once I got the idea when to shift I turned it off because it takes your eyes off the road. I just got 36mpg on my third fill-up, so much better than my 2013 got.

    how many people love the heat and the sun

    Heat It's over 90 here right now and it's miserable. I tend to ride on days with a lot of clouds, try to ride where there are a lot of trees to make it bearable. I feel your pain.

    Stunning Got my new spyder last month and had a really hard time not getting that red one. With all of my gear being pink, went with the white.

    2014 vs 2015

    I tried to find a 2014 limited and was unable in my area except for one that the dealer wanted as much for as I paid for the 2015! If I had found one that was reasonable, I would have bought it.

    RT rear tire wears in Middle?

    Tire wear My 2010 had wear like that with only 4k miles on it, as did my 2013 that I just traded for a 2015 and it had only 4k miles on it. Not sure how long they are supposed to last.

    2014 RT LTD 1330 engine sounds like gravel

    Gravel I do not hear anything like that on my 15 RT Limited. There is a chime from under the seat when I shut it down, that is a mystery to me.

    2013 RT Recall

    Recall Got mine today also. In florida so have to stop riding soon due to the heat, hope there is a fix for this. I don't even try to ride when the temp is over 85 degrees.

    Where is trunk light in new 2014 Spyder RTS & Linited

    I have a new 13 RT Limited and didn't know it had a light until I had the aux turned on, then I saw the light in the Right front of the frunk. It doesn't illuminate unless the key is on (at least on mine)

    frunk

    The key shows you that if you rotate it one way, you unlock the seat and the other way unlocks the frunk. I never remember to hit the button before I turn off the ignition so that is how I access the frunk

    Web Boards

    Had them on my RT and they were awesome, just traded it in for an RT Limited, the footboards are nice, but I miss the look of the web boards! Enjoy! :2thumbs:

    Squirrelly Handling on 2013 RT Limited

    Yes, my 2013 limited is approaching 600 miles and can't wait to get back to the dealer. Traded in my 2010 RTS and it was much more stable than this one. Not sure if it's ball joints, alignment, or what. It is as squirrely as yours and I never rode 2 wheels, so no relearning curve here.:sour:
