2014 RT LTD 1330 engine sounds like gravel

Since day one my engine on my 2014 RT 1330 sounds like there is gravel down by my left knee. If I get off the bike and listen I can hear what sounds like gravel coming from the vent by my left knee. Is that normal sound on these bikes?

Also when I am sitting on it and riding it sounds like there is a lot of vibration or noise coming from the air box. Is that also normal?

Gravel

I do not hear anything like that on my 15 RT Limited. There is a chime from under the seat when I shut it down, that is a mystery to me.

Find another 1330 Rt and listen to that to make sure they sound the same ......If the other one is quieter better go to the Dealer A.S.A.P., I have a 1330 and very quiet.........just sayin.....Mike :thumbup:

Hard to say..!!

worth a comparison or a stop by the dealer for a listen. I know these engines have a different sound but could be an exhaust leak :dontknow: if your having noise and vibration from the air box as well could all be related and you would need to get under there to see if things are setup right. When is or was your first service..?? This should all be checked then...

I have 700 miles on it and 3000 miles till my first service
