• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Keyboards Loved and Lost

Man, I used all those, plus the Radio Shack Trash 80 model III, C-64, Atari 520st and Atari 1040st, and Apple 3C. I wasn't going to ever buy an IBM, but then they came out with super VGA and blew away the competition. Then on to Windows 3.1 and beyond. And somehow I got off the keyboard track...

List of known heat reduction mods with links.

I don't believe the Seal floorboards are a heat solution. It is the SpyderPops upper blockoff plate that is the solution to a lot of people's heat problems when using footpegs or the Seal FBs.

    Iphone 5

I bought the adapter. It is not a cable, but just a female 30 pin to male lightning adapter. Using this adapter I can still use the bike controls to change my Pandora songs, and the mp3 songs.

The numbers are in and they are good.

I too was looking forward to having forced time off due to the furlough, but my agency deemed me as essential, so I got put on the exempt list and have to work still. I am still getting paid, which is a good thing, but lost the overtime and shift pay than comes from working a shiftwork...

Any AZ riders have an Aftermarket seat?

Traveling to the last Spyderfest with my group, we took three days to get there, from Virginia. I was disliking (hating) life due to my OEM seat. I had an Airhawk cushion on the bike too, and it didn't seem to help. I bought the Ultimate seat at Spyderfest and did two 11 hour rides to get...

    EVO gauges mucho bueno!

Question about the Prosport gauges - has anyone who has installed the gauges had any problems with water? I wrote to the company asking which gauges were waterproof, and they said none of them were waterproof. I really want to replace my non-functional gauges, but not if they are going to get wet.

    Commuting on an RT?

I've been using my RT since last September as my primary vehicle here in the DC area (gotta love the HOV) and I have no problem with traffic, but I don't zoom through traffic any more. I'm not sure why you would have trouble parking the RT either.

my rear tire is completely shot in the middle

I have a 2012 RT Limited and keep the OEM rear tire at 28 psi. The salesman who sold it to me thought my rear tire was cupping (this was after 6k miles), but I couldn't see what he was talking about. The tire has 8000 miles on it now and the wear looks even to me.

    Kuhmo vs Toyo

I have over 8k miles on my original tires and can't see any wear yet. I have the 2012 RT Limited. I do drive the bike much more slowly than I did my 2 wheeler tho, especially in turns.

    2012 Spyder Rt ltd

Gold plugs are mentioned here. I went to their website trying to find the plugs for my 2012 RT Limited. The website has RT and RTS listed, with a 990cc engine. Is there a difference between my 998cc and the 990cc plugs? Which ones would I get, the ones for the RT, or RTS? Thanks.
