• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Canadian trailer hitch

Tricky Dick Nothing unusual about the install -- very easy to do. Axle bolt has already been discussed. The 5 pin to 4 pin that I bought was the better one for $44.95 ("175") John PS: I received mine in 6 days.

    Canadian trailer hitch

I have one! Tricky Dick, I bought one from them and it's a great hitch. fits my RS perfectly. Paid via Pay-Pal $249.00 with free shipping. Had no trouble installing it either. Note: You will need a converter for the Spyder wiring from 5 wires to standard 4 wire. Reason: the Spyder has...

I'm curious to know how you Spyder Lovers feel about

I wear a Harley 3/4 helmet because it fits great and I'm comfortable in it. I bought it when I had my HD Heritage Softail Classic. After trading in the HD for the Spyder, I still favor the HD helmets. John

    Three-fingered wave

I always acknowledge other bikers with the usual "Harley-type" wave, since the most bikes I've seen are either HDs or Sport bikes. But lately I'm seeing Spyders on my short rides locally, and I impulsively always give a "thumbs-up" greeting. :2thumbs: I think Spyder owners know exactly what I...

    rts limited

I was at my dealership today looking at the Limited Edition, and the only thing I found that was extra over the other RT's was it includes all the travel bags, the special logo seat, and the GPS. Dealer MSRP is $28.099. Personally I can't justify the extra money for the travel bags, and...

Is this stuff these people are saying true ???

Funny.....I have just over 32,000 miles without any troubles on my 2009 Spyder SE-5. Ever watch the news on tv? The media is full of all the bad stuff that happens in the world. Reminds me of the "entertainment" in the Roman days when a person was thrown into the closed off arena only to be...

    Question on Kenda Tires

Does anyone know how Kenda marks their tires? Their is a red dot and a yellow dot on the front tires, and I'd like to know if anyone knows which dot represents the heavy or light side. I'm balancing the front tires and have located the heavy/light spots on just the rim without the tire on the...

JM Integratr IV -V- Starcom 1

Mo Lee I forgot to mention this: The Midland CB #75-822 comes with a "shorty" screw on antenna. But I bought a 4 foot fiberglass ant. with a license plate mounting bracket (with grounding strap) and coax cable and had much better range with that set-up. Also, I can't remember the name of...

JM Integratr IV -V- Starcom 1

Mo Lee J&M Intregratr IV Mo Lee, I had the J&M Intregratr IV (mounted in my CanAm tank bag) and used the following devices with it: It has a very good built-in FM Radio and rider to passenger VOX intercom. Options that I used: Midland 40 Channel CB with NOAA weather, Kenwood FRS radio...
