• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Some how missed that! I've done 3 of these bikes and every one of them required the throtle relearn... Haven't seen a plug and play one yet as all have done the limp home mode failure but I'm glad his was a quick simple fix! :cheers:

    I only had to run one wire to each fender harness to get my turn signal reference for the park/turn module. To power the module I tapped into the DLC acc power under the upper frunk trim. The ground I got direct to the main cross member under the headlights.

    Yes, we debated about the matching paint mirror caps. The spyders owner decided that function over looks was the desired outcome. But at the end of the day I really like the gloss black mirror caps with the Asphalt Metallic paint colour. He really missed his 2015 Spyder mirror mounted lights...

    I just finished instaling Non-North American Factory 2020+ BRP Can-Am Spyder Mirror LED Turn signals on a friends bike but I wired them in to also act as park/running lights. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome.

    Spray the living beegeezus out of EVERYTHING... pull all the fuses out and spray it point blank into the terminals then reinstall the fuses and spray a good amount again to ensure the fuses and relays are now "sealed up" then on to the back of the fuse box...     Excellent advice... ever try muriatic acid on corroded wires? :ohyea: I use it all the time when working with corroded wires on some units especially boats. Dip the corroded wire in it and voila! Clean as a whistle... neutralize it then get to soldering. use this a lot on vessels I do...

    Looks like you're making progress... Once there's water intrusion and any sign of corrosion in a fuse box the magic electrical pixies tend to get moody... If you caught it in time and there's sign of corrosion, replace the affected wires and terminals, get out a can of fluid film and PLASTER...

    I'm just going by the parts lookup system... the 2018 was a tester and went back never to be seen again! I cannot remember the numbers now; and at any rate what difference would it make?
