• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Best sounding muffler

^^^ EXACTLY! IMHO, loud mufflers on anything other than a V-Twin or V8 sounds like crap.

Missing---Joke Forum, so I'll just start a thread.

(Shamelessly ripped-off from somewhere else ... ) As it turns out, porn star and media fascination Stormy Daniels won't have to pay for her legal services. Her attorney took the case pro-boner.

    Fog lights out

I, too, noticed my fog lights wouldn't come on ... but only in the daytime. At night, they both come on! I've tested this a few times and get consistent results. It seems to me that fog lights will only come on when the bike senses it's night time. Call me crazy, but ...

    The couple that sweats together...

Ask her to lose some weight. I'll bet one way or another, that solves that problem. May cause other problems, but hey ... ;)

What Kind of "Release" Did You Sign?

Well, well, well. Whaddya know! Talked with my local dealer and they'd be more than happy to install a tire that I brought to them. In fact, there was a Kuhmo tire sitting by the service desk that another customer had brought in. And on top of that good news, it'll only cost me one hour...

What Kind of "Release" Did You Sign?

I just watched the DIY video on changing the rear tire. Well, that's way beyond my wherewithall at 68 years old and arthritis in my hands. Guess I'll have to deal with a dealer.

What Kind of "Release" Did You Sign?

If your local Spyder dealer will only install non-OEM tires on your Spyder if you sign a "release", what's in that release? What parts of warranty does it nullify? How much are you left hanging on your own if you do that? Any hesitations? Thanks.

    Which GPS?

Unfortunately, Tyre to Travel is for Windows only. We Mac users will have to look elsewhere.

    Quicker Cornering Techniques?

I've been riding a 2014 RTL for about 1 1/2 years. I'm 68 years old and am rather conservative and danger-averse rider. I don't usually exceed the speed limit (much), etc. That said, I'm going on a several-day trip this fall with a friend to ride curvy roads in Arkansas. He's a more...

    GMOs or No

IMHO, abrupt, absolute rejection of GMO's is a display of willful ignorance of the benefits to humankind.

    shifting issues

With my 2014 RTL, it shifts smooth as butter when "cold" for a few minutes. After that, there is a noticeable hesitation/surge/clunk -- whatever -- when shifting. I try to maintain constant throttle. I've experimented shifting between about 2700 to 4000 rpm to find a "sweet spot" but that's...

    Fog lights not working.

I don't know if this is the case in your situation, but I discovered the fog lights on my 2014 RTL only work at night. I wonder if they're designed that way?

    Is this normal ?

Mine "lugs" on takeoff from stoplights even when fully-warmed-up. I have to kind of feather the throttle to avoid stalling the engine. I've taken it to my dealer and after hooking up their computer, declared it just fine. :banghead:

    Is this normal ?

I wonder if that's why I feel this "lugging" upon takeoff on my '14 RTL. Maybe I need to give it a little throttle before coming off the brake?
