• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fog lights out

I noticed both my fog lights out today . I checked the fuse and its good but replaced it anyway to be sure. I think it's unlikely that both burned out at once .
Any ideas ?

I just took a quick look in the Owner's Manual (Page 149), and couldn't figure out which relay to inspect.
Can you tell us which one we should be looking at for this?
Thanks!

I, too, noticed my fog lights wouldn't come on ... but only in the daytime. At night, they both come on! I've tested this a few times and get consistent results. It seems to me that fog lights will only come on when the bike senses it's night time. Call me crazy, but ...

They aren't triggered by their switch AND the day/night sensor for the dash lights, are they?? Or have you (or the installer) inadvertently chosen a trigger source wire that is controlled by this sensor?? Does putting a 'black out' card or cloth over the analogue speedo & digital dash display let them come on in daylight/bright light conditions??

Surely if BRP had intended this to be a feature we'd have heard about it before now?? Has anyone heard that? Or is anyone aware of the Spyders (of any model) having low-light sensing fog light activation??

Mine are on all time. Never turnoff need all light i can get.
No sensor involved 14 rt se

I love R&R put another dime in the jukebox baby!

Mine are on all the time as long as I have the switch turned on I have 2015 RTS

Fog light switch

My fog lights on always, 2014 RTL. I noticed them out 1 day on pre ride check. It turned out the switch had failed. Warranty replaced switch. Since then I replaced my headlamps and fog lamps with Xenon extreme LED lamps. Very bright and run cool 😎 with less draw,on battery.
