• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have the oil changing kit that comes with 2 filters and I was wondering if it is the correct one to use for the manual RT spyder?? Do I simply throw away the one filter that is not needed?

You must have the kit for the SE 998 engine. Just use the larger filter for the manual or if you got it at the dealer take the kit back and exchange it for the SM kit.

:agree:.............Plus the SE filter kit costs more ...................Mike

Will work...

:agree: if you can't return or exchange then use only the engine filter. When re-ordering make sure it is for the sm and not the se model it will be cheaper...

Same thing happened to me. I have an RT-S SM5. The dealer took the small filter out, stapled the bag, and gave me a reasonable discount.

They don't sell very many RM5 or 6's so they don't carry a kit for manuals.
