• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I test rode both. One bid difference I saw in the two was launch or traction assist.

With the SM you needed to get pretty good at manually launching the bike from a standstill. Mostly you got a bunch of tire smoke. Great if that was what you wanted but it does not launch quickly.

With the SE the traction control takes over as soon as you twist the throttle. Its as simple as power brake slightly and then drop the throttle to full and let go the brake. Yes some tire squeal but mostly $h1t and get. Much faster launch with ease of computer aide.

As of last night, I now am the grinning high school kid with my new F3 SE6.......

Thanks Len!

I just got mine on wensday and the se6 was all i need. lots of traffic in my area but i can still feel like im in control of my gears.

Have a F3 SM. Have manuals on all my rides, a stick shift on the car. Love having control of the engine...

To the guy at the drags who was extolling the virtues of the SEs, ad nauseam, you were beat by a chick with a SM.

From an old friend; You go Girl!!!!!!:D

I like shifting and clutching

My original plan getting a Spyder was to get the SM5 RS, I ended up leaving with the SE5 STS. Just over a year later I rode the F3 SE6, then I bought the SM6.
