• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Urban rack

Gotta say..!!

googled urban rack and found a mess of things, clothes, bicycle storage, roof racks etc what am I looking for...:dontknow:

I have watched the video of the urban rack it looks useful.how does everyone like it....

Hi

i have one and it's a nice place to store gloves, sunglasses, etc.... The only problem is that mine fit very sloppy! I had to wrap some electrical tape around the tabs to stop the rattling. As much as it cost, very disappointed in the lack of quality control

I have it . . . .

. . . . it is really equivalent to most car's glove compartments ( just like the rest of the F3's storage :roflblack: ).

Good for goggles, bungee cords, enhanced toolkit, stuff like that. The fit and finish on mine is fine.

I chose it over the slightly larger Mono-rack because it has a flatter metal top - better for me to carry things.

I like it, but I do consider it expensive for what it is.

I like mine

but the fit on mine is also loose. Kind of like the fit on the little thing that holds the heated handgrips/aux light buttons -- it just flops around. The urban rack will also move if you wiggle it. I was also expecting it to have kind of a "straight through" spot for the power outlet, but instead it's got a center plug that you can pop out, and there's enough room under the rack to have the USB chords plugged into the outlet and then feed them through the center plug. It works fine, it just wasn't what I had pictured when I ordered it. The other thing I like is that there's enough room underneath it for the tool kit so you don't have to store the tool kit inside the rack. Having all this room underneath the rack means the storage space inside the rack wasn't as large as I was picturing it, but it's good for my iPod and my phone and my gloves and possibly my rain pants -- I haven't really figured that part out yet.

Put a couple wraps of electrical, tape around the two tabs... It tightens it up and no more rattling around... Shame for the cost this has to be done...
