• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, I never thought i'd say this, but I'm getting an RT.

So i never thought i'd say this, as I always joked that the RT stood for "Retirement" model, but I am going to trade my RS-S in for a 2014 RT Base model (Because i don't like the fog lights for some reason) In black, with the Semi auto transmission. I want the 1330, and the stereo, and all the storage space that the RT has as well as the comfort for a passenger. I looked at the F3, but it has all the downfalls my RS-S has. And an even smaller storage space.

Congratulations!! I wouldn't have any other model in the current line-up, for all the reasons you mention and more. But then, I AM retired. ;)

:congrats: It sounds like you have been won over to the dark side. :roflblack:

Congratulations..!!

we'll still talk to you even if you did jump ship. I'm sure once you set it up to your liking you will have just as much fun...enjoy..:2thumbs::yes::yes::ohyea:

The strangest thing is that there was a BRP 2015 info packet with models and accessories and such sitting in my mailbox tonight, its like they know.

Not only are we all different . . . .

. . . . we are always changing!

Good for you for finding the answer to; "What fits me now?"

Yeah, sometimes we have to eat a little crow with it, but when you're right, even that tastes good.

Tom

Having a comfortable ride for my wife was the reason I got an RT. And when you are riding solo, you can still drive the wheels off it. And I am not retired either!

You and your passenger will love it.
I am so glad that I bought an RT instead of an RS. My wife and I tour in comfort with miles of smiles.
I am not retired either:thumbup:

RT

I've road crotch rockets GSXR 1000, crusiers Honda 750, and now the RT. I have to say the RT is by far to me the best open air riding experience i've had. I am not retired and less than 50 yrs old and love the Spyder RT.

:congrats: I figure that when I'm on it, I don't see all that tupperware on the back. And when I get off, I like having space for my stuff!

I like to think of it as coming into the light, Dwayne!

That's pretty much why I bought my 2014 RT S SE6. Didn't need all the other stuff AND I could add my RT SE5 (6) DLX Seal Floorboards and have a much larger, better looking Floorboard and not have to pay the $1,000. BRP charges for their floorboards. It's the best of both worlds: a 1330 cc motor, 6 speed tranny And Seal Floorboards. Why more dealers don't automatically install them on their RTS SE6 floor models is a mystery to me. They fly out the door for those Dealers who do. Enjoy your new RT and......

Ride in comfort,
John

Very cool Bob. I sing in a trio of old guys "The three white beards" and we will be singing that song, "City of New Orleans", "Something" by the Beatles, the Eagles "Take it easy" and some other classics in a concert in Puerto Vallarta, Mx. on the 20th and 23rd. of this month. The only thing I love more than selling Seal Floorboards is singing and playing my Martin.

Singing on pitch,

Hey, the RT is great if you want the comfort and luggage space needed for two up riding. The 1330 is awesome! I loved my 2010 RT but I don't regret the trade up at all. Everything from better gas mileage to power and lower maint. cost is a plus. As you can see in the pic, I have the black as well. It is an RT S tho as I am fond of the fog lights and as few extras. But hey, that is all personal preference. I didn't think I would like the semi auto but now I am very glad I have it . The shifting is great! Forget the ECO mode though, it simply reduces the throttle body to reduce power (thus saving gas) maybe.
