• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Might be my first chance to get an F3 ride. While i'm on vacation:yes:

It's windy and raining here today if that makes you feel any better. :yikes:

Haven't seen or felt the white stuff in over 30 years, and I plan on keeping it that way.

Thanks for the refresher course. The last time I experienced snow was in December 2005 when we were remodeling our bathroom, and couldn't get the contractor scheduled before then. That postponed our usual "Winter Texan" trek by about six weeks that year.

Today was cloudless, 80+ F., and wind under 10mph. Great day for a little rYde! Today is our weekly group ride for lunch somewhere, probably 120 miles or so, round trip, with 10-12 machines.

I ryde some just about every day now, and rolled up 25,000 miles exactly on the 2-year anniversary of our first ryde with this machine. That's with no long trips whatsoever, yet.
Life is Gooooood!

(Sorry, didn't mean to rub too hard. :doorag: )

You have winter, they have summer... riding in 100+ heat is about as much fun as riding in the snow...

We haven't had any snow or ice (a bit of frost is all) this winter - unusual, but not unheard of. Lots of rain - which is different here. We don't get the East's gullywashers, rather, an all day light to medium rain - yes, that's 24 hrs all day! It's what we have to pay for all the trees and traffic free back roads...

Snowed every day in Feb. here so far. Had a nice ride from Fulton to the Grist Mill, both in NY. Sunday. Took the sled of coarse. Now I am taking a break from pulling all the snow off my roof. Much better time riding the Yamaha.

Please keep the snow where it is. I am actually enjoying our "low snow" winter. We are more than 36 inches below normal so far.
