• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Power outlet in the trunk

Any body know what fuse is used for the power outlet for a 2013 ST-S. I made the mistake of trying to run an air pump to blow up an air mattress and now the outlet doesn't work. I called the shop and they don't have a clue. I looked in the owners book and I'm not able to identify it. All of the fuses look to be in order, not blown.:dontknow:

Fuse

On my RT I had to move the fuse from 5 to 6 or 6 to 7...I have had a nap so I forget which one...

Right hand fuse box. F6 or F7. The fuse is a 10 amp fuse. If it is in the F6 slot you have it configured for constant 12vdc at the outlet. If the fuse is in F7 slot it is configured for keyed power. Look on page 131 of your owners manual, bottom left starts explaining the right hand fuse box and continues on top left.

I think you have that backwards F6 is key switched and F7 is always on. According to page 131 of the owners manual.

Thanks

For that tip. I stream music over my phone and I wanted to charge it when we stop for lunch. Just switched the fuse to F7 it is good now.

It was indeed F7, I pulled both fuses, F6 looked OK, F7 is bad but its hardly noticeable, very hard to see the break.

Thank you for your help

You say you pulled both fuses.:dontknow::dontknow: That's a problem!! There should only be one fuse for these 2 slots. If you put the 10 amp fuse in slot F6 then F7 must be empty or vise versa.

I don't know much about the electrics of the spider. I pulled two fuses, F7 was bad and I replaced it with the spare provided.

right fuse box

Can someone post what the fuse cover lid says the fuse is labeled as? Tks

When the frunk liner is unzipped on my ST there are two covers that bulge out to the left and right of the power outlet. They are labeled left & right fuse box. pull the cover off the one labeled right and then there is a second cover over top of the fuses. Remove that cover, my ST had a fuse in F6, I removed it & plugged it into F7. You are done. Just reinstall all the covers correctly.

There should only be one 10 amp fuse for the outlet. You have a choice of putting it in Right Fuse Box slot F6 (switched, on with key) or you can put it in Right Fuse Box slot F7 (unswitched, on all the time).

If you found it with fuses in both slots. Complain to your dealer the next time you are in.

By the way the Right Fuse Box is the one on your left as you are looking into the trunk.
